We are always interested in talking with people about our science, and how we could work together to answer new questions, or expand exisiting projects. We are happy to work with people from all disciplines from both academia and industry.

Interested in how plants develop? Would you like to join The Plant Shape Lab?

We are looking for people who have a passion for plant development who would like to join our team in exploring the rules underlying plant shape. We particularly welcome people with diverse skills and backgrounds.

Undergraduate student?

Motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate students are welcome to carry out a final year project or summer internship with us. If you are interested in our research, please get in touch! We always have project ideas but these can be tailored to your interests.

Looking for a masters student thesis project?

MSc students at the University of Edinburgh are welcome to apply for a thesis project with us. If you are interested, please get in touch, we will build a project together that best matches your interests.

Looking for PhD Studentships?

Each year PhD positions are advertised for different program funding based on residency status, educational background, and nationality. Check our pages for active advertisements, most positions are advertised in November/ December.
